MATA VAISHNO DEVI TEMPLE

 

 

Mata Vaishno Devi Temple, nestled in the picturesque Trikuta Mountains of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir, holds a special place in the hearts of millions of devotees. The journey to the Vaishno Devi Mandir is not just a physical one but also a spiritual odyssey for devotees. Pilgrims embark on a challenging trek of approximately 13 kilometers from the base camp at Katra to the temple atop the mountains.

The path winds through rugged terrain, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and valleys. Many pilgrims undertake the journey barefoot as a mark of devotion and penance.

 

 

 

Vaishno Devi Temple

 

As pilgrims approach the Vaishno Devi Mandir, their anticipation and fervor reach a crescendo. The temple complex comprises the main cave shrine, dedicated to Goddess Vaishno Devi, along with several smaller temples and prayer halls. The sanctum sanctorum houses the natural rock formations representing the three divine manifestations of the goddess – Maha Kali, Maha Lakshmi, and Maha Saraswati.

 

 

Beyond its religious significance, the Vaishno Devi Mandir also holds immense cultural and historical importance. The temple complex has undergone several renovations and expansions over the centuries, reflecting the enduring devotion of its patrons. It stands as a symbol of resilience and faith, weathering the storms of time and adversity.

Let’s go to Mata Vaishno Devi Temple

 

These few days ago we all friends are meeting at my house or preparing for go to Mata Vaishno Devi Dham. We booked tickets and started preparing to go.

After the rail came, we all left for Mata Vaishno Devi Dham. After some time we all had dinner or started chant “JAI MATA DI”. Early in the morning we reached Katra railway station. Where I see a very beautiful mountain or lake.

 

 

After that we reached the hotel and booked the room. After resting for some time, I get fresh-n-up and ready to go for visit . We had breakfast at Manoranjan Hotel or went out for darshan of Vaishno Mata.

We all started the journey chanting the praises of Mother Vaishno Devi. This is the first journey of all of us due to which we are quite thankful that in between we drink juice or water or travel with the blessings of our mother.

During the journey, we got to see many beautiful views and the sights were captivating. The entire view was visible from the mountain.

 

In this view I clicked a lot of photos or videos. After some time we reached the halfway point and it took some time to click the photo or start the further journey. During the journey we saw deer, monkey or lion. I thought so much that I wanted to stop there.

In the evening we reached our mother’s spirits or after having fresh food went to the temple to have the prasad after darshan. After that we went inside the cave and saw the mother queen. From there we got Mata Prasad which contained a coconut or a Mata Rani coin.

 

 

Bharav Baba Mandir

After that we left for climb up of Bharav Baba’s mandir. After some time we reached Baba’s temple. The view of the night was so captivating that we clicked the photo. After that he completed his journey by offering Prasad in Baba’s temple.

 

 

We finished the journey there and arrived at around 11 pm. After that we went to Manoranjan Hotel to eat food or rest in the room.

Shivkhodi Cave

 

 

 

 

 

 

The next day we went to Devi Mandir and enjoyed swimming in the swimming pool. After that we left for Shivkhodi. During the journey we saw many beautiful sights which we clicked on our cameras. After about 2 hours we reached Shivkhodi. Here we booked horses or started climbing Shivkhodi.

After about 3 hours we reached Shiv Baba’s cave. This is the cave where Lord Shiva narrated the story to Mother Parvati. This cave extends from Shivkhodi to Amarnath cave. After the visit, we all went to the room with prasad.

Raghunath Temple in Jammu & Jashmir

 

Next day we left for Jammu. After that we reached Raghunath temple which is a very beautiful temple and whenever people think of going to the best place then they must see the Raghunath temple of Jammu & Kashmir. After the visit we returned to Delhi by evening train.
